I’m all about creating designs that are as unique as you are. In 2020, I launched Designed By Shelby with one mission: to help businesses of all sizes craft and perfect their dream projects.
Whether it’s print or digital, I pour my heart into every project, making sure it feels like you. And honestly? Watching my clients’ businesses grow and thrive is the best part of the job!

A peek into my process.
1. The first steps.
It's like that first awkward "hello!", except this hello is full of excitement and creative potential. We'll kickstart the process with a quick chat to get to know each other better and understand your needs for your business. We will ponder, brainstorm and throw some Q&A's back and forth so we ensure that we're a perfect fit for each other and this creative journey.
2. Let's research!
Depending on your project needs, this step can range anywhere from researching what your business needs to succeed, color palettes, current trends, your competitors and so much more! The details on this will be discussed during your initial first chat.
4. The back & forth.
This is what I call, the part of watching your project come to life! After I have created your design concepts, website draft or proofs, we will work together to discuss any changes, suggestions and feedback to make sure your project is where it needs to be. It's a process that will include a few trial and errors, so I always say with patience comes greatness!
5. The wrap up.
Once we've accomplished the final look, I'll tie up any loose ends and wrap up any last minute needs to release the final product or files your way. Depending on your invoice agreement, your final payment will be due before project release. Easy peasy!
3. And we're off.
This is where the fun begins (aka the creativity starts to flow). After we've finalized your initial thoughts, ideas and concepts, I'll start doing the creative work to create concepts, develop your site or brand that reflects our initial conversation.
6. Ongoing support.
Just because your projects are done, doesn't mean this relationship is! Even after we wrap things up, I will be here if you have any questions or concerns.
How long will it take to finish my project?
Ah, the question of timing! Every project is unique, so timelines vary. After we chat and get the deets, I’ll give you a solid timeframe. But don’t worry, I'm quick on my feet, and I’ll keep you updated if anything changes. I don’t believe in “rushing” creativity, but I do believe in being efficient.
